How to make an Italian dessert that’s a classic, but it’s also easy to make without being expensive

Bonita: Ingredients 1 1/2 cups cooked pasta 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 large egg 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 cup finely chopped tomatoes 1/4 cup chopped parsley 1/8 cup finely shredded basil 1/16 cup finely minced red pepper flakes (optional) 1/3 cup chopped fresh basil 1 1 / 2 cups water 1/5 cup fresh lemon juice 1/6 cup fresh parsley (optional and not required) 1 cup chopped cilantro 1/7 cup chopped frozen spinach 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or other cheese of your choice) 3/4 teaspoon salt Directions Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.

Add the pasta, then add the egg and stir to coat.

Cook until the pasta is golden brown, about 2 minutes.

Remove from heat.

In a large bowl, whisk together the Parmesan and the tomato puree until combined.

Set aside.

Add 1 cup of the water to the bowl.

In another large bowl combine the pasta and the egg mixture, then stir until well combined.

Pour in the cheese mixture and season with salt.

Add to the pasta mixture and stir until just combined.

Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of the basil and cook for 2 minutes more.

Remove the pasta from the skillet and stir in the spinach, then serve hot.
